Wayne Carle Middle School
This new middle school is bound on two sides by open space and has unobstructed views of Standley Lake and the Flatirons. Building colors were chosen to complement the natural landscape surrounding the school and the interior two-story masonry walls evoke a relationship to the Colorado canyons. The building has four teaching centers clustered around the central media center which juts out into the landscape.
